Spring is here and it is time to wake up the landscape. This time of the year trees and shrubs are beginning to contemplate growth. They will require water and nutrients as they begin to form leaves and put on the seasons growth. It is most important that soil moisture is adequate during this time so monitor your landscape. A good layer of mulch is helpful in keeping the soil from drying out in the warm windy spring days. On warm dry days, take out your garden hose and water them in! A good rule of thumb is 10 gallons for each inch in trunk diameter. If you need help, let us know- we are happy to come water for you.
